Welcome to Glacier Consulting's *NIX data collector and analyser tools. The collector is used to gather critical system information, which can then be used for health checks, trend analysis, audits and documentation, and can assist during disaster recovery.
The information and software on this page is currently only intended for AIX & Linux systems. Glacier Consulting also provides manual analysis of data collected from Solaris & HP-UX systems. The Glacier team specialises in performance, security, clustering and auditing of *NIX systems, with informed recommendations that will improve the overall well-being of your server. Under most circumstances Glacier Consulting will request that you download, install and run the collector, and send the collected data back to us for analysis. You only need to download the analyser if you were specifically directed to download it.
The collector for AIX is made available as an AIX installable package, which can be downloaded by anyone.
If you were directed here by us, please download the collector and install and run it as per the instructions below. If you stumbled onto this page and are not a client, you are welcome to either contact us for a sample of the output of the analyser tools or you can download, install and run the collector, and send the collected data to us for a free once-off health check of your server.

Once you have downloaded the collector and copied it to your AIX server, follow these steps:
